D3Code 2019 was 1st edition of hackathon conducted by UST Global. Around 7000 participants competed across India for top 3 positions. This hackathon was unique in a way wherein problem statement was disclosed on the day of hackathon itself. We developed an application for Warehouse Management with real-time tracking as what was expected as per the problem statement.
I was part of 60 students representing India in the Singapore India Hackathon 2019. We were grouped into teams by the organisers. Our topic was to improve indoor air quality which we did so by using cloud and automated readings along with actions using an Arduino board. We worked with students and mentors from Singapore as well as India. Many dignitaries like the Prime Minister of India (Shri Narendra Modi) and the Education Minister of Singapore (Lee Hsien Loong) were also present.
An interactive application to help the Government of India in real time collection of price data reducing collection time from 3 weeks to minutes. This was deployed on the NIC server under a '.gov.in' domain. Multiple authentication methods to prevent fraud along with checks to ensure accuracy of prices, location of user. I worked on building the entire Backend infrastructure including API and server setup.

Our project focused on fastening the existing payment process done via UPI across various cities in India. We developed an application named AMEX ONE for the same.
Worked on building an computerised adaptive test using Item Response Theory. The aim was to determine the proficiency of an user in a topic with lower number of questions. Built an Arango Graph Query to determine the relevant topics and connected nodes for an input query. For example "Python" can refer to the programming language or the snake. Disambiguation and finding relevant keywords for example would return frameworks as "Django" and "Flask", for Languages, "JAVA", "C", etc.
First place winner. Problem statement of Kotak Mahindra Bank to build a Low Cost Digital Payments Solution that is mobile centric. We built a plug and play terminal that accepted various kinds of Digital Payments. Mainly being NFC UPI (which is different from NFC Cards as this is more secure and cheap), Aadhar Pay, QR Pay along with a Payment Gateway. Our focus was on scaling without having to issue any new methods to the consumer. Our solution works with all existing UPI applications and cards. Thus, making it easier to deploy on a larger scale.
We won the Airbus Aerothon 2019. We built on the prototype given by the Airbus team, which was for flight management system through the use of cloud and mobile app along with a Google Assistant integration. We competed against industry professionals and students in the industry.
